The UAE Permanent Committee for Human Rights (PCHR), in cooperation with the General Women’s Union, organised a panel discussion in Abu Dhabi titled “Women and Access to Justice” ahead of the 70th session of the Commission on the Status of Women (CSW). Participants highlighted the UAE’s legal framework protecting women’s rights, including laws on domestic violence, human trafficking, discrimination and personal status, as well as digital court services and victim support mechanisms, stressing the importance of effective implementation and access to justice.
